I met Randy a few years ago working with a small group ministry at our church. His passion for developing people and "loving on" them was obvious. Recently I have had the opportunity to meet with him to work through some things that I really needed a trusted mentor to help me with.

It takes very focused work these days to address and take action to improve the state of ones soul. I find that that is exactly what Randy is interested in when I meet with him. He cares about the deepest parts of me that I don't even know exist sometimes. I believe we live from our souls and Randy asks piercing questions regularly that force me to look a little deeper into myself and get a better idea for the reasons I do what I do and if they are healthy (many times they are not).

When Randy and I meet, he is very focused, sincere, sensitive and is fiercely intent on helping me destroy blocks  that stand between God and I. He knows that what I need most of all is a loving relationship with my Father and is totally focused toward issues that stand in our way. Randy's love and intentions are quite clearly communicated by who he is. Randy blesses me in ways no one else does because he is so eager to bless and develop me where I live from - my heart. I thank God for him and am eager to continue our interactions. My heart will settle for nothing less. Neither will God's and neither will Randy's.

My time with Randy over the last few months has helped me grow both as an individual and as a small group leader. Randy has given me the tools to successfully lead a small group of women by both validating and uplifting me as a leader. He has also given me ideas for discussions as well as ways to handle situations that have come up. My individual growth has blossomed since meeting with Randy. He has helped me realize how to become more centered with God without feeling like I've failed in the process. Randy let's me learn on my own and with gentle guidance to become a better person. I really look forward to our time together and am excited to see what the future has in store for us.

Randy has been a tremendous help in my continued growth as I have wrestled through deep seated areas of brokenness in my life. He has received me with such grace and acceptance while never shying away from speaking truth to these places. The way that he calls out my truest person and calls me to be more the man that God has created me to be has inspired me to continue to make better choices no my road to beautiful. Randy has a gentleness to his spirit that I have rarely experienced with leaders. He listens so well not only to me but to the Spirit when we meet. I feel like he is always in an ongoing, active, listening conversation with myself and God. It is this unique gift that allows Randy to be able to discern what it is that God is desiring to show to me and speak to me. God has used Randy in big way to give me a more clear picture of the love that the Trinity has for me.
