Jon Peacock - Director of  Axis, Willow Creek Community Church, South Barrington, IL
I’m currently the director of Axis, a ministry of Willow Creek Community Church that reaches out to 18-20somethings. My leadership run began in October of 2006. In early 2007 I realized the necessity to have someone pour their life, wisdom, and faith into me; in essence I had been consistently pouring my life out to others and needed someone who would be willing to do the same for me, that someone is Randy Guenther.

Randy and I have been meeting on a weekly basis, discovering what God is shaping in me and the person that God is calling me to become.

My experience with Randy has been so powerful and transformational.

Randy’s unique ability to listen and ask soul explorative questions has taught me that God really loves me and it has also helped me love myself - what a crazy concept. For some reason I have always tried to be someone else and still do often.

Randy is currently helping me realize that I have been created in God’s image and that God has uniquely and wisely created me and that I can learn to love that, love the way I’m wired, love my fingerprints.

I am so looking forward to the future, looking forward to learning more from Randy, learning how to develop others, learning how to be truly liberated, and how to partner in another’s redemptive process.
