Leaving a Legacy of Love begins with you. We can’t give away or pass on what we haven’t received or experienced ourselves. You must first receive from God something worth giving away.

Receiving requires a journey. It’s not simply about a moment, a prayer, or a discipline. It’s an on-going journey into an ever-deepening, ever-intensifying awareness, connection, and union with God. No matter where we are at on our journey, if our hearts are open, Jesus will lead us deeper into that beautiful union.

To be honest, the journey can be terrifying and difficult. Each of us has barriers that keep us from union with God. Those barriers need to be removed, which can be a scary and arduous process. That’s why we need to journey deeply and vulnerably with others. On our own, we can only go so far. We need to surround ourselves with some safe and strong people who will journey with us, invest in us, as we invest in them and in others.
